The Discovery Park Center for the Environment (C4E)

The Center for the Environment's mission is to enhance environmental integrity with enlightened stewardship and innovative monitoring and modeling and management of natural resources, resulting in expanded economic development and improved quality of life. The center was founded in 2005 and currently has more than 130 Purdue faculty and staff from nine colleges and schools involved in the Center's activities. Research areas include Sustainable Indiana Futures, Sensory Landscapes and Intelligent Monitoring (SLIM) area, the ECO-Hub data system, and Technologies for Cleaner Air, Soil, and Water.
