The Purdue Climate Change Research Center (PCCRC)

The Purdue Climate Change Research Center was established in April 2004 to serve as a crucible for interdisciplinary research on climate change and its environmental, social, economic, and political impacts. The PCCRC is built on a foundation of scientific excellence, interdisciplinary perspective, and the momentum generated by a new, multi-departmental faculty hiring plan. The mission of the center and its nearly 40 faculty members is to promote and organize research and education on climate change and study of its mitigation and impacts on agriculture, natural ecosystems, and society.
