Summer Start Dates and Deadlines

Here are some key dates families need to know related to Summer Start.

Important Dates

Submit FAFSA ASAP! (More explanation can be found on our Costs and Aid page)

Accept the offer by: May 15, 2024

Pay the admissions deposit by: May 15, 2024

Complete the 2024 Think Summer Application and 2024-25 Academic Year Application by: May 19, 2024 (May 5 is the preferred deadline to sign the housing contract.)

Move In: July 6, 2024. Students and staff will be available from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 6th to assist with move-in. Families will receive more information about move-in specific time in timeslots and directions approximately two weeks before the start of the program. Please note that students have a mandatory orientation program starting at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 6th and lasting through Sunday, July 7th. Orientation is only for students. 

Pay Tuition by: July 8, 2024

Summer Start Courses Begin: July 8, 2024

Summer Start Courses End: August 9, 2024

Attend Boiler Gold Rush (BGR): This is the week after Summer Start ends and before fall classes begin. Students will need to register for BGR and housing is covered between the end of Summer Start and the beginning of fall classes if they participate.
