You know what it takes to be competitive: You were accepted into the Computer Graphics Technology program at Purdue. Now, you have an opportunity to excel and form relationships with others in your field of study. Through the CGT Learning Community, you will participate in co-curricular activities related to the computer graphics technology field. This Learning Community will help you make friends, connect with faculty, and form study groups that will help you realize your goals through your undergraduate years and beyond. It is possible to participate in the Women in Technology Learning Community in combination with the CGT Learning Community.

Eligibility

  • First-time beginning students admitted to the Purdue Polytechnic Institute with a major in Computer Graphics Technology, including:
    • Animation
    • Building Information Modeling
    • Data Visualization
    • Effects Technical Direction
    • Game Studies
    • Human Centered Design and Development
    • Virtual Product Integration
    • Visual Effects Compositing
    • Web Programming and Design

Residential Component

  • OPTIONAL in McCutcheon Hall
  • Information about this residence hall can be found here
  • If you choose this option, your roommate in most cases will be a member of the LC
  • Completing a housing contract is a separate process from applying for the LC
