Would you like to connect with students who are also intrigued by the science of nutrition? The Science of Nutrition Learning Community provides students with the opportunity to explore the scientific basis that helps us understand the relationships between foods and health. The study of nutrition science is a broad field with far-reaching consequences that affect not only nutritional recommendations, but can improve many aspects of health, impact the formulation and marketing of foods. In this LC, you will participate in shared classrooms, interact with active nutrition researchers, and meet professionals with a background in nutrition science, such as medical doctors and food industry specialists to learn how nutrition has shaped their professional mindset. In addition, you will get to know your peers and faculty through social events throughout the semester.
