Purdue’s Day of Giving was a major success! Thank you for your continued support of Supplemental Instruction at Purdue. Your gift could help put another SI leader in a tough course. Our goal is to help students learn to navigate in difficult courses and graduate in a timely fashion. Check out the SI Program Overview to view results of this peer assistance initiative.

An endowment from John and Marcy Towns (Purdue Ph. D. ’91 and Purdue Ph. D. ’94) was matched by the Lilly Foundation in 2014 and was designated “to support and encourage the success of undergraduates at Purdue by expanding the SI program with the goal of broadening the impact of SI in both foundational and non-foundational courses. “  Those monies are being used to support SI leaders in two newly-linked courses and will be used to link with more courses in the upcoming semesters.

Donating to the SI Program

If you are interested in helping students to succeed by donating directly to the Supplemental Instruction program, you may use the form found here. Please list "Supplemental Instruction" in the Other category.

Those who give to Purdue during the Day of Giving, which takes place in April, can direct their gifts to any fund they choose.  If you wish to direct it to the Supplemental Instruction program, you can designate that in a letter or note along with the form.  The options for giving may be found at this link.
