Purdue University Rural School Network

The Purdue University Rural School Network gives rural schools Indiana access to the best educational practices and research for rural communities.  Network schools are connected to one another, Purdue, and businesses via distance technologies.  The network provides activities that assist member districts to improve instruction in the science, mathematics, engineering, and technology. School leaders participate in network meetings to update their skills and promote partnerships for offering services to students and staff. The network also has a technology component to promote the development and implementation of technology to link member districts. The Rural School Network will enable Purdue fellows to experience a wide variety of rural schools and mentors during their teacher education program.
