CAMPUS-WIDE FOCUS

  1. University committee on Building IT Synergies, including Governance & Funding sub-committee
  2. SMARTcomputing Program  Executive Oversight Committee
  3. DCM/AITL Joint IT Directors Committee member
  4. Continued coordination of the campus-wide IT Directors’ Portfolio to support sharing of resources on efforts in common.

SSTA FOCUS

  1. Oversaw 2008 SSTA Balanced Score Card to meet or exceed 13 of 15 metrics
  2. Led effort to established new SSTA 2009-14 Strategic Plan.
  3. Improved SSTA Customer Satisfaction levels:
    • Dept Heads: Services Important & Satisfaction Survey = 4.55/5.00 with (.02) gap
    • Dept. Coordinators: SSTA Staff Satisfaction = 4.89/5.00 (a record high)
    • Dept Customers: SSTA Support Incident Satisfaction = 4.91/5.00 (a record high)
    • SSTA Staff: Staff Satisfaction Gallup Survey = 4.30/5.00 (4-yr trend is up with 1 attrition during 2008-09)
    • SSTA Service Quality = 4.68/5.00
    • Level of Cooperation with ITaP = 4.00/5.00
  4. Implemented initiatives to ward off a forecasted budget shortfall.
  5. Oversaw the TCD group to achieve following project delivery metrics
    • 89% On-time Delivery of date promised
    • 100% On-time Delivery by Estimated Effort
    • 100% Project Management Methodology Adherence  
  6. Oversaw the WT group to achieve:
    • 5-Year support call trend being reduced by 60% due to stability and efficiency improvements
    • Number of workstations supported per WT staff member being 28% higher than the average of 3 similar areas on campus.
    • Number of user accounts supported per WT staff member being 5% higher than the average of 3 similar areas on campus.
    • Number of printers supported per WT staff member being 84% higher than the average of 3 similar areas on campus.
    • Annual Life Cycle upgrades of 4-year old desktops & laptops, and end-of-life network printers.
  7. Provided consulting, development, and/or sponsorship of the following departmental system efforts:   
    • Recreational Sports RecTrac System virtual migration project
    • Student Hospital Electronic Health Records project
    • Dean of Students Student Organization management system project
    • Dean of Students Labels-on-Demand project
    • Secure IM Public Recommendation & Guidelines
