2005-06 Previous Experiences & Accomplishments

 

  1. New Desktop Environment Implementation:
    • Delivered per planned dates
    • Resolved last-minute implementation barrier of password issue with ITaP
    • New environment led to a sustained 30% decrease in help desk calls
       
  2. Planned the reorganization of SSTA
  3. Mentored the new WT Manager to a successful first year in management
  4. Executed the VPSS Identity & Security Initiatives Plan and Reporting
  5. Led the Balanced Score Card portion of the new SSTA Strategic Plan
  6. Chaired the RSS Reader Recommendation Committee portion of the Purdue-Board project
  7. Implemented Customer Satisfaction Surveys:
    • New Web-based Customer Satisfaction – rated at 4.7 of 5.0
    • Revised Departmental Computing Coordinator Satisfaction – rated at 4.7 of 5.0
       
  8. Gained acceptance of a revised Workstation Funding Model
  9. PSPM Project:
    • Co-Lead of Cost Model group
    • Advisory Group
    • Participated in Hardware/Software group
       
  10. Became newly Involved with following efforts:
    • SST Steering Committee
    • DCM/AITL Share Committees
    • Became the IT Security Officer representative of Student Services
    • Became the Purdue Security Contact representative of Student Services for IT Security incidents
    • Became the IT Communications Network representative of Student Services
    • ITI Change Management Re-design effort
    • ITI Outage Notification Re-design effort
    • ITI AVP Search Committee
    • ITI Balanced Score Card Development planning sessions
