Start between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., May 25. Finish any time before 3:30 p.m.
How do I sign up?
Complete and return the walk registration form you received via campus mail or online via this website. No sign-ups will be accepted by phone or e-mail, or on the day of the event. Deadline is May 13.
How does it work?
At the start table, you will receive your start card and a map with a designated route marked on it. Follow the route to find the checkpoints, as there will be no clues for the checkpoints this year. At each checkpoint, have your start card stamped. Utilize your campus map to help find your way to each checkpoint, and ultimately back to the finish table. Walk may include some elevation and/or steps, although every effort is taken to make the route accessible.
Where do I go to begin? Check in at the start table located in the Loeb Foyer in Stewart Center to receive a start card. Follow the map at your own pace; the check points will be noted on the map. Turn in your card at the finish table to receive your award.
Hints for a great walk
- Be sure to wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.
- The walk will take place rain or shine. Only a severe storm will cause cancellation.
- Every reasonable effort will be taken to make the event safe and fun.
