Scholarship of Engagement Conference

Service-Learning offers you the opportunity Purdue University's Center for Instructional Excellence, Office of Engagement, Academic Affairs Office, Student Services, and Indiana Campus Compact hosted the 4th Annual Scholarship of Engagement (SOE) Conference on October 28th, 2010. The conference showcased past and current service engagement efforts to the entire campus, and provided opportunities for faculty, students, and community members alike, to increase engagement partnerships and programs. The conference features speakers, Professor Kim Wilson and Dr. Susan Curtis, who discussed their research regarding the impacts of service-learning faculty grant programs at Purdue and offered suggestions on how to prepare for promotion and tenure based on engagement efforts.
