Information Security Standards

ITaP security standards are a refinement of University policy and support the Data Security and Access Policy Statement (Executive Memorandum No. C-34). This information is published for the purpose of security awareness and to aid staff in complying with University policy. As administrative applications and data become more distributed, the need for security expectations and responsibilities must be clear. Effort to create these security standards is ongoing and will be reviewed by IT Security & Privacy office.

Nothing in these standards changes or supercedes Executive Memorandum No. C-34 regarding Data Security and Access Policy.

The IT Security & Privacy office is lead by the Chief Information Security Officer for Purdue University. The process and any modifications to information security policy, these standards, or this site will be announced as needed.
