Vulnerability Scanning Cluster

In collaboration with CERIAS, ITaP’s Networks and Security division has developed the Vulnerability Scanning Cluster (VSC), available at: https://vsc.itsp.purdue.edu, for System and Network Administrators on all Purdue Campuses. The VSC is a self-serve mechanism for network vulnerability scanning and is intended to replace the previously available ISS Internet Scanner. The VSC uses the Nessus/Nmap open client architecture for vulnerability scanning and will generate a report showing identified vulnerabilities to your systems.

At this time we are only offering access to System and Network Administrators.
However, ITaP continues to provide development on the VSC to address bugs, and feature requests. If you would like to participate in the VSC development process, please contact us at itap-vsc@purdue.edu.

Note: Please read the User Manual (PDF) before attempting to access and use the VSC. Please see the FAQ page to help answer any general questions you might have about the VSC.
