Purdue University Physical Facilities maintains various record sets, including text-based, 2-D, 3D graphics, scanned images,
orthophotography, plannimetrics, and legal documentation pertaining to facilities data for all four Purdue campuses. Some
records are maintained for historical purposes; others, for decision support in the design, construct, repair,
rehabilitation and maintenance of Purdue's facilities and grounds. Physical Facilities processes, stores, and distributes

In addition, Physical Facilities is responsible for the life safety and comfort of the campus population, and maintains
data for the same. This data includes records and information for Police, Fire, radiological and Environmental Management,
Environmental Control, and Campus Parking.
Additional datasets include business and financial data supporting all of the aforementioned datasets, including Payroll
and Human resource records. Finally, Physical Facilities incorporates into its structure, various organizations that
provide campus services. These include Transportation Services, Materials Management and Distribution, Printing Services
and Airport services, and information is maintained, both character-based and graphically, supporting these operations.
