Phishing email blocked at the boarder.
There was a recent phishing attempt targeted at Purdue users attempting to get them to click on a malicious link. It is disguised as originating from the Purdue Helpdesk, and claims the users can login to the Purdue University forum. The URL directs the user to a malicious site, but this should have been mitigated by blocking access to that at the boarder.
As a reminder, Purdue will never ask for personal information such as username or password via email. It is always best practice to not click on links contained in an email.
