Phishing Email - allegedly from Purdue help desk blocked.

Phishing email blocked at the boarder.

There was a recent phishing attempt targeted at Purdue users attempting to get them to click on a malicious link.  It is disguised as originating from the Purdue Helpdesk, and claims the users can login to the Purdue University forum.  The URL directs the user to a malicious site, but this should have been mitigated by blocking access to that at the boarder. 

As a reminder, Purdue will never ask for personal information such as username or password via email.  It is always best practice to not click on links contained in an email.

You Can now login to PURDUE UNIVERSITY forum and get the 
latest Update and information/service.Please use the below 
link <MALICIOUS URL> to get more information about the 
service.
