This week saw a surge of new security updates for both Mac and Windows computers, partially due to Patch Tuesday. For more information on the Microsoft Security updates that were released with the latest patch cycle, the MS Security Bulletin can be found here:
Apple also released security patches for their Safari web browser as well as their bundled version of the BIND DNS server software (for those OSX Server users out there).

Info for the BIND update: http://lists.apple.com/archives/security-announce/2009/Aug/msg00003.html
In both cases, the updates can be acquired the respective operating systems' auto update feature. If you haven't already done so, please update your systems!
