Monthly Summary and Trends

The STEAM-CIRT saw an increase of 14% in the total number of events reported in March compared to February. Conversely, investigable events decreased of 35% over February. Furthermore, classified incidents decreased by 46%. Compared to the same month last year, classified IT incidents are nearly 86% higher. Overall, the number of accounts compromised via phishing emails has decreased, and much of the decline in events is attributed to this.
