Firefox/Thunderbird/IE 7 issues

An out of band patch is being released by Microsoft today for the infamous IE 7 0-day vulnerability discovered last week. Users may wish manually initiate an update of their Windows machines in order to get this update as quickly as possible, since this has been a fairly major and increasingly exploited vulnerability.

Also, Mozilla Thunderbird 2 and Firefox 3 both had major vulnerabilities that were reported (and fixed) today, so if you are a Mozilla product user, you should make sure that your products do an auto-update.

To read more about these vulnerabilities and their respective fixes, articles can be found on www.secunia.com and www.securityfocus.com.
