IT Guidelines

The ITaP Security and Policy (ITSP) group facilitates the development of University information security policies and consults on information security compliance activities under federal, state, and local law.

Purdue University information security guidelines are recommended actions and operational guides to users, IT staff, operations staff, and others when a specific standard does not apply. Guidelines are not necessarily technology agnostic. Guidelines are created by cross organizational working groups consisting of subject matter experts.
