October 22: Phones and Tech Toys: Who can hear me now?

What new technology will we see next year? What trends will we see? Will these be good or bad? All portable devices incur greater security risks. How can you protect yourself and not live in a cave? Aaron Jarvis, Network Engineer within ITaP will co-present with Ryan Fisher from Verizon . Ryan will help educate our listeners on best practices and the future of cell phones and other techie toys. Eric Cole, lead instructor from SANS institute will speak also.

October 31: Special Security Guest Speaker and traditional Security Halloween Contest.

Our final event of the Cybersecurity Awareness month of events concluded with Chris Kenworthy, McAfee Senior Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Business, presenting information about trends in cyber threats. We concluded with our annual cybersecurity Halloween security costume contest.
