ITaP Security and Policy warns the Purdue community that the University has been specifically targeted by a phishing email that asks for users to click on a link and enter their University email account information. The most current version of the email looks as if it is coming from Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) departments and appears quite authentic.
ITaP Security and Policy reminds the Purdue community that IT units at Purdue will never ask you for your login credentials by email, and will never ask you to verify your account information via email.
If you have received this type of email please take no action and delete it from your inbox.
