Monthly Summary and Trends

The STEAM-CIRT saw a significant increase of 81% in the total number of events reported in April compared to March. The number of investigable events in April saw an even greater increase of 184% over March. Furthermore, classified incidents jumped by approximately 208%. Compared to the same month last year, classified IT incidents are 281% higher. Overall, the overwhelming number of copyright violations is attributed to this enormous increase.
