Make sure you are taking the necessary high school classes. Indiana Core 40 is the required curriculum for students entering high school in 2007 or later. There are several types of Core 40, but the general credit requirements are:

• 8 English
• 6 math
• 6 science
• 5 directed electives
• 2 physical education
• 1 health and wellness
• 6 electives
