What Twenty-first Century Scholars Pays

Twenty-first Century Scholars (TfCS) awards must be used at participating colleges and universities in Indiana.

Covered costs

  • Tuition
  • Regularly assessed fees (e.g., technology, library, activity, and health services fees)

Non-covered costs

  • Room and board
  • Travel
  • Books
  • Other costs associated with college attendance

Number of semesters

  • Eight semesters or 12 quarters (equivalent of four years)

Awards by school type

  • Public colleges or universities — full tuition and fees
  • Private colleges or universities — tuition and fees equal to that of a public school
  • Proprietary or technical colleges — tuition and fees equal to that of Ivy Tech Community College
