How to register for Purdue Promise

There are several steps you must complete in order to be eligible to participate in Purdue Promise. They are:

  • Apply to Purdue University West Lafayette early in the fall semester of your senior year;
  • Get formally accepted at Purdue University West Lafayette as a full-time freshman starting in the fall semester; and
  • Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2010. List Purdue as your first college of choice.
  • In addition, you must fulfill your requirements for the Twenty-first Century Scholars Program, which include:
      • Submitting a signed Affirmation Form;
      • Filing a complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1 (note: this is Purdue's deadline, which is earlier than the State deadline); and,
      • Successfully graduating from high school

Once Purdue receives your FAFSA information, if you meet the eligibiliy requirements, you will receive further information from Purdue Promise.
