If you are a new incoming student eligible to participate in the Purdue Promise support program and received a welcome letter from us in the mail, click here to access the Purdue Promise New Student Checklist and keep track of everything you need to do.

There are several steps you must complete in order to be eligible to participate in Purdue Promise. They are:
- Apply to Purdue University West Lafayette early in the fall semester of your senior year;
- Get formally accepted at Purdue University West Lafayette as a full-time freshman starting in the fall semester; and
- Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2012. List Purdue as your first college of choice.
In addition, you must fulfill your requirements for the Twenty-first Century Scholars Program, which include:
Submitting a signed Affirmation Form;
Filing a complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1 (note: this is Purdue's deadline, which is earlier than the State deadline); and,
Successfully graduating from high school
Once Purdue receives your FAFSA information, if you meet the eligibiliy requirements, you will receive further information from Purdue Promise.Once on campus:
Maintain the Twenty-first Century Scholars pledge;
Remain in good academic standing and make satisfactory academic progress;
Remain in good judicial standing with Purdue University; and Fully participate in Purdue Promise support services.
