Purdue Promise

The Purdue Promise program is striving to help eligible Twenty-first Century Scholars, Emerging Urban Leaders, and Purdue Opportunity Award Scholars be successful at Purdue University, West Lafayette. Through a combination of support services and financial aid, Purdue Promise is helping students access Purdue, succeed academically and socially while on campus, and graduate with a strong set of skills for success after college. The financial aid package is renewable for up to four years (total of eight semesters).
If you are a high school Twenty-first Century Scholar*, we hope that you will consider the Purdue Promise program. The financial aid assists with the costs of college and the support program provides you with a community of peers, upper level students, and professional staff to help you navigate the Purdue University campus.

*How do I know if I am Twenty-first Century Scholar?
Twenty-first Century Scholars are Indiana residents who signed a pledge of good citizenship and academics in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade and have fulfilled their obligations of affirmation and timely financial aid paperwork. If you are a senior in high school and signed the pledge in 6th, 7th or 8th grade, be sure to contact your Twenty-first Century Scholars Site to complete the needed paperwork to receive your scholarship.
Financial need is defined as the Cost of Attendance less the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC). The annual cost of attendance is estimated by the University using federal guidelines and includes tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, transportation, and certain miscellaneous/personal expenses. The estimated family contribution represents the parents' and student's ability to contribute toward annual college expenses and is calculated using the information provided by the family on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
