PURA members appreciate Salla's dedication
Members of the Barbara I. Cook Chapter of Mortar Board on April 10 surprised Michele Salla, secretary in Staff Benefits, with a 2009 Rose Award for her "unselfish service to the Purdue community."
The Rose Award is designed to give recognition to staff members who contribute significantly in ways that make Purdue a better place.
Mortar Board members announced the award by singing a modified version of the Mortar Board "tapping" song and presented her with a certificate and a dozen yellow roses.
The PURA executive committee and board members have benefited greatly from Michele's tireless efforts and gracious attitude on behalf of Purdue retirees.
A well-deserved recognition. Thank you for all you do for us, Michele!
