New Resource for Managing Data
The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) has developed this web resource to guide in the development of effective practices in order to ensure the integrity, preservation, and managed access to research data.The Web site serves as a guide to:
- provide assistance in shaping local practice and approaches,
- identify principles and obligations derived from federal and University policy.
- what constitutes a research record and its associated data,
- roles for researchers and the University,
- pertinent policies.
Links to additional resources on retention and management of research data are also available.
The Web site is not intended to prescribe procedure or resources for storing data.
We will develop the Web site over time with the objective of providing substantial information to help sort through issues related to research data.
