MIKE PELLEGRINO

Mike Pellegrino is president of Pellegrino & Associates LLC, an Indianapolis-based valuation services firm specializing in software and intellectual property valuations for a variety of purposes.  He has a BS in computer science and an MBA.  He has substantial software development experience with private and public companies, including those in the Fortune 500 and governments, and he was the chief financial officer for a software development firm.  Since forming his company, Mike has valued a variety of items including patents, collections of copyrighted works, process methodologies, contracts, workforces, and software for customers across the globe, servicing small start-ups and Fortune 500 companies alike.  A frequent writer and speaker, Mike published the first peer-reviewed and accepted treatise on embedded software valuation, the first major treatise on the taxation of embedded software for tax reporting purposes.  He has also counseled tax jurisdictions and legislators on appropriate valuation standards and tax policy for high-tech investments and two of Mike's ideas were memorialized into state law.  Mike is honored to be a member of the Indianapolis Business Journal's 2007 40 under 40 class.  Mike's email address is mike@pellegrinoandassociates.com.
