Indiana Watersheds Webinar Series
Linda Prokopy's research group at Purdue University has conducted numerous studies over the last decade to understand what motivates different types of farmers to adopt conservation practices. She will present summary findings from all these studies including key lessons for the design of an effective outreach program. Dan Towery has extensive experience working directly with farmers and farm organizations to get conservation practices adopted. He will "ground-truth" the research findings and recommendations with practical insights.
