Engineering a Water Curriculum Introductory Session
A group of Purdue Faculty and students in STEM, liberal arts, business, and other areas have been diligently fostering a multidisciplinary service-learning curriculum on water and sanitation in developing countries. These issues require a multidisciplinary approach and provide a unique opportunity for faculty and students from across a wide range of disciplines to collaborate.
“So why do I care?” As a faculty, student, or student organization, you can:
· Develop Leadership on global affairs by solving topical real-world challenges on water sustainability
· Engage in multidisciplinary project in developing countries and utilize specialized knowledge & skills
· Broaden you horizon in water sanitation and sustainability and explore new things
· Get in touch with varied experts and organizations from a variety of inter-related fields
Interested students, faculty, and student organizations are welcomed to the Introductory Session for this course! Come to learn what you can gain and contribute in global water sustainability issues.
When: Tues., December 4 at 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Complimentary refreshments and poster viewing from 2:30-3:00 p.m.
