56th Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research - Purdue University
The International Association for Great Lakes Research invites you to participate and share your research during IAGLR’s annual conference, June 2 – 6, 2013, at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Abstract submissions for both oral and poster presentations are welcome.
Deadline: January 25, 2013 The deadline will not be extended.
The 65 proposed sessions highlight the conference theme, Great Lakes Restoration and Resiliency, and include invasive species, climate change, land-use and eutrophication, contaminants, nearshore health, fisheries, data management and modeling, foodweb and ecosystem ecology, physical processes and stakeholder engagement.

All interested persons are invited to submit abstracts for consideration. Oral presentations will be scheduled from Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6 and will be limited to 15 minutes plus a 5-minute question/discussion period. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference and highlighted during a poster session. Both oral and poster presentations require an abstract. A non-refundable $50 fee is charged for each abstract submitted. Payment of the abstract fee does not constitute registration for the conference but the fee will be credited toward the registration fee.
All abstracts must be submitted via the IAGLR web site wwww.iaglr.org/conference/. We encourage authors to submit abstracts for specific sessions, but also will accept general contributions. Abstracts should describe results and the relevance of the research being done, as well as the implications for advancing our knowledge or the effectiveness of policy.
