Join RCHE and members of the Infusion Pump Informatics network for this keynote presentation by Allen Vaida, PharmD, FASHP, the executive vice president for the Institute for Safe Medication Practices.
"Smart" infusion pumps are becoming more common in hospitals and provide important safeguards in assuring patient safety; however, they are also one of the many alert-generating equipment pieces in a hospital room with which hospital staff must interact. Learn about how these pumps can be use most safely to maximize their usefulness and keep patients safe.
