OVPR Events

Every year Purdue’s Global Business Engagement office organizes business development workshops for the arriving parents of our incoming freshmen international students. This year over 50 parents participated. The thrust of the program is to expose those parents engaged in business to ways Purdue can help them expand their business in the U.S. and in their own countries. Topics range from hiring students, conducting research, meeting technical challenges, opening an office in a Purdue Research Park, licensing technology, finding a partner, customer or supplier, to support from Indiana state and local government.
