It is expected that the successful candidate will assume a leadership role to help strategically guide the development of PHASE into a self-sustaining research center and graduate program.
Candidates must have an earned doctoral degree and a distinguished background that includes depth in both engineering and life sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach biomedical or mechanical engineering courses and maintain a strong, externally-funded research program. The successful candidate will be tenured either in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering or the School of Mechanical Engineering as appropriate. Formal affiliations with other Schools within the University will also be possible.
