"True renaissance man" to retire from director of Global Policy Research Institute

In 2010, Arden Bement Jr. was named Purdue’s inaugural director for the newly-established Institute, coming from his director position at the National Science Foundation. The Institute was created to enhance Purdue’s presence in policy-making with helping to solve long-term global issues.
