Building Research Collaborations: Electricity Systems

The goal of this day and a half workshop is to identify Purdue capabilities and build research collaborations in the area of electricity systems. Knowledge gaps and challenges addressing the Eastern region will be discussed.

Five working session on electricity systems include:

  • Security of Energy Infrastructures
  • Data Management and Analytics
  • Regional Issues
  • Workforce Training
  • Modeling/Simulation/Computing

Tentative agenda

August 28:

7-8 am registration/breakfast

8-9 am: Discovery Lecture Series speaker: John McDonald, GE Digital Energy

9-5 pm: Panel discussions

6 pm: Poster session/reception


August 29

7-8 am: Breakfast

8-9:30 am: Panel discussions

10-noon: Breakout sessions

Noon – 2 pm: Report back and lunch
