Description

Dr. Jeffrey Dukes, director of the Purdue Climate Change Research Center, will be a guest speaker at the Purdue Wabash Valley Master Gardener's Association 2018 Spring Seminar.

Dukes will provide an overview of the key findings from the latest report from the Indiana Climate Change Impacts Assessment (IN CCIA) with a specific focus on local home and garden impacts. This assessment, led by the Purdue Climate Change Research Center, is the product of two and a half years of work by researchers around Indiana.  Nine reports, on topics from Agriculture to Energy to Health, are being developed in response to input from people working in those fields.  More than one hundred experts from around the state are involved in writing reports that will help Hoosiers understand and plan for the coming changes.
