Undergraduates are eager to learn and to find a mentor. They're curious — and since they're new to the research process, they can often ask questions or observe connections that more seasoned researchers may gloss over. As a faculty mentor, it's a deeply satisfying experience to work with new researchers as they develop basic skills and find their passion in research.
