A discussion of post-award costing issues, including expenditure and reporting of grant funds and other important topics.

An overview of administrative and policy changes affecting NIH and its grantees. Targeted towards participants with NIH experience.

Getting Started as a New Investigator
Getting it all together: finding pportunities, understanding how to convey your qualifications to reviewers, identifying appropriate mechanisms of support, utilizing the resources provided by NIH and your institution, and more.

1D Research Training Awards
Issues specific to grants awarded under the auspices of Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards, specifically Individual Fellowships and Institutional Training Grants. Administrative and programmatic aspects of training grants and fellowships will be discussed, including application preparation tips.
