In order to receive a ring or whole body badge, you must fulfill a few requirements.
- Submit a Form A-4 (Application to Use Radioactive Materials and/or Radiation-Producing Devices).
- Sign up for training;
- If you will be using laboratory isotopes only, please contact Mark Pflug to set up your training.
- If you will be using x-ray equipment, sealed sources, moisture density gauges, or any other radiation producing devices, please contact Jim Schweitzer to set up your training.
- REM determines what type of badge(s) you will need based on the degree of hazard you will be working with. There are several situations in which badges are not required.
