Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of laser safety program through administration, guidance, and enforcement
- Support the Radiation Safety Officer regarding oversight of radiation safety program administration
- Manage the daily operations of the REM Radiation Safety Section
- Serve as ex-officio member of the Radiation Safety Committee, and Laser Safety Committee
- Oversee radioactive material spill decontamination for areas and personnel
- Coordinate radioactive material area decommissionings
