Construction Health and Safety Introduction

The Construction Health and Safety section of REM provides support to contractors and University employees for compliance with the Construction Multi-Employer Standards. The Construction Health and Safety Officer acts as a liaison between Purdue and outside contractors.

This section also coordinates asbestos inspection, sampling and abatement as well as lead sampling and abatement.  Other special environmental projects such as dust control on construction projects and the removal and coordination of removal of other hazards and nuisances associated with building renovations are also provided by the Construction Health and Safety section.
