TranscriptsOfficial transcripts of your academic record are provided free-of-charge by the Office of the Registrar. Each student/alumnus is limited to 10 transcripts per request and 50 transcripts per term.
If you are currently enrolled, you may submit your request directly on myPurdue.
Requests submitted via myPurdue are processed within one working day.
Former students with attendance in 1968 or later may use the eTranscript online request system. Refer to the Quick Reference Guide regarding the eTranscript online ordering system for questions.
If you are currently enrolled in courses and want the grades in those courses to be included on your transcript, or if you will be receiving a degree and want the information about your degree to appear on your transcript, the production of your transcript can be delayed until the end of the academic session when the desired information has been added to your record. Be sure to note that on your request form.
Transcripts are also available in person upon request in Room 45, Hovde Hall. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to bring photo identification with you when submitting your request.
If your request requires special handling, such as being mailed in a special envelope or being accompanied by an attachment, you should come directly to Room 45, Hovde Hall, so that your request can be handled personally. If you are not able to come to the Office of the Registrar, you may submit your request by mail. **DO NOT FAX, SCAN OR EMAIL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.**
Your signed request may be sent via fax to (765) 494-0570. Be sure to include your full name, PUID/Student Identification Number, date of birth, dates of attendance at Purdue, the address where you would like the transcripts mailed to, the number of transcripts being requested, and your written signature. For your convenience, a transcript request form is provided for you to complete and return via fax, scan and e-mail. **DO NOT FAX, SCAN OR EMAIL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. WE WILL BE UNABLE TO PROCESS AND ARE REQUIRED TO DESTROY YOUR REQUEST. WE WILL THEN NOTIFY YOU TO SUBMIT A NEW REQUEST WITHOUT CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. CREDIT CARD INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED OVER THE PHONE.**
If you cannot submit a request via options above, you may request your transcript by mail, including the information stated in option 4 above. Send your request to:

Academic Transcript KeysOfficial transcripts are printed with keys on the back that explain the course numbering system, credit types, grading systems, institutional scholastic indexes, abbreviations and symbols, special credit notations, and transfer credit as well as other relevant information.
Transcript requests not requiring express delivery, if signed and scanned, may be sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Transcripts requiring express delivery CANNOT be scanned and e-mailed. These requests may only be presented in person, by mail or fax. Please direct inquiries to email@example.com or call (765) 494-6165.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: You may obtain a copy of your student's transcript by completing the transcript request form. It must be either signed by the student, or you may submit a copy of your most recent tax forms, providing that the aforementioned student is your financial dependent. These documents may be faxed, mailed or scanned and e-mailed to the Office of the Registrar as described above.
Purdue University produces two types of official transcripts. Transcripts printed in the landscape format contain only historic Legacy (1968- summer 2002) records. Transcripts printed in the portrait format contain fall 2002-present records. The following are the keys for each type of official transcript:
