Seating and Security

Seating in the Hall of Music

All degree candidates will be seated on the main floor of the Elliott Hall of Music.  A diagram of the seating assignments will appear in the printed program for your guests.  See the following seating chart for the appropriate seating area:  Division I, Division II, Division III, Division IV, Division V

Guest Seating

The Elliott Hall of Music will be open to your guests at 6:30 p.m. for the first division, 8 a.m. for the second and fourth divisions and 1 p.m. for the third and fifth divisions.  Once the academic procession begins entering the auditorium at 7:40 p.m. for the first division, 9:10 a.m. for the second and fourth divisions and 2:10 p.m. for the third and fifth divisions, no guests will be seated until the procession is concluded, so urge your family and friends to be in their seats early.  As a courtesy to others in attendance, please ask that your guests remain in their seats until the conclusion of the exercise.

Security

Security precautions may be in effect.  Please continue to refer to the Office of the Registrar Web site for the most current information. 

Parking

Parking will be available in the Grant Street, Northwestern Avenue, University Street, and Wood Street parking garages. Please avoid parking in 24-hour reserved places.  Uniformed Purdue police will be on duty and will provide directions, as needed.  The surface lot north of the Armory will not be available for guest parking.
