Youth & Family Programs

Our Youth and Family programs provide opportunities for family involvement and youth recreational sports.  Participants can expect an educational, friendly, and safe atmosphere in order to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. The Youth and Family Program is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment to the families of faculty, staff, and students at Purdue University.

Birthday Parties

Tired of the same old birthday party ideas? Enjoy a day of fun when your child’s birthday party is hosted at the CoRec. Rec Sports will provide the staff, space, and equipment for your child to have a memorable party.

Boiler Kids Camp

This interactive, educational day camp is designed for children ages 5 to 12. In a safe and enjoyable environment, children will be presented with a wide range of activities including rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and so much more!

Cooking Classes

Learn how fun and easy cooking can be!  Your child will learn how to make delicious recipes in a hands-on, safe, and fun environment, and taste everything along the way.  All of our classes teach valuable knowledge and life skills, including basic culinary skills, food safety information and how to make healthy food choices.

Fitness Classes

Join the fitness staff for educational and exciting fitness classes designed for parents and children to live a healthy and active lifestyle together.

Parents' Night Out

Don’t forget, parents need a break too! Rec Sports offers regularly scheduled events for kids to enjoy while parents enjoy a day or evening of relaxation to themselves.

Sport Clinics 

Youth Sports Clinics are designed for children to learn the basic fundamentals of a particular sport in a safe and enjoyable environment. Children will learn about individual and team goals, sportsmanship, and fair play.
