Peer Mentors

The Peer Mentor Program

The Peer Mentor Program is a combination of group instruction and one-on-one mentoring, available to all students here at Purdue.  Each mentor is extensively knowledgeable over all of our 8 dimensions of wellness.  They can provide help in such areas as time management, stress relief, and overall healthy habits.  Students of all years are welcome to take advantage of this new program free of charge.

One-on-one Mentoring

Sit down and talk with one of our highly trained Peer Mentors.  The Purdue Peer Mentors have extensive knowledge and experience over academic tips, stress reduction strategies, time management strategies, and much more. The Peer Mentors are more than happy to sit down with students for 20 minute face to face meetings. We encourage students to schedule a meeting and fill out a pre-arrival form, but the mentors do accept walk-ins.

Schedule a Session

Peer sessions will resume in Fall 2017. Please check back in late August for procedures regarding scheduling a meeting.

Wellness Presentations

Request a presentation by a Peer Mentor or Wellness Staff Member over topics such as: Stress, Time Management, Sleep, and more.

Ask a Question

Have a quick question and can’t make it into the Wellness Office?  Ask the Peer Mentors your question.
