Locker Rental Policies
*Please note that a lost locker key will result in a $20 replacement fee being assessed at the time of locker return.
We have a variety of options available to all RecWell members for storing belongings when visiting the CoRec. We have daily use lockers spread throughout the facility within each floor’s fitness spaces for easy accessibility. We also have lockers in the men’s and women’s locker rooms, which can be used for the duration of one day. Rental locks are available at the Equipment Center, Member Services desk, and at TREC for use with an active membership.
*All daily use lockers must be cleaned out by the time the facility closes each day, or the contents will be removed and a $25 Locker Cleanout fee will be assessed in order to have the items returned. When locker is cleaned out hygine items (soap, shampoo, hairbrush, ect.) will be thrown away.
If you wish to rent a locker, you may do so at the member services desk; we offer locker rentals on a monthly basis, with both full and half size lockers available. The full size lockers are approximately 15in wide and deep, and 6ft. tall. Half size lockers are approximately 3ft. tall, and 15in wide and deep.
All rental locker users will receive an email on Friday of the week before their locker is set to expire, reminding them that they need to either renew or return the locker, and a tag will be placed on the locker itself. The following Friday, they will receive another reminder email. Two weeks from the date that the first email is sent, if the locker rental is still not resolved, the lock will be cut and the contents will be removed. The items will be stored at the Member Services desk, and in order to retrieve the items and be eligible to rent a locker in the future, a $25 locker cleanout and key replacement fee must be paid. When locker is cleaned out, hygine items (soap, shampoo, hairbrush, ect.) will be thrown away. If locker items are not retrieved within 6 weeks from the date of cleanout, they are considered abandoned property and will be sent to Purdue Salvage, where they will be made available for sale as per university policy.
