Ryder Cup – PPGA vs. PSGL

Format: This is an annual event that pits the top players from both leagues in a one day 18-hole individual match play format. Teams are consisted of eight golfers with one alternate that is used in the event of a tie. Each match is played “straight-up” (no handicaps) and is worth 1 point. If the players finish the 18-hole all square, then each player will receive ½ point. The first team to reach 4 ½ points will be declared the Ryder Cup Champion.

2013 Date: Sunday, September 22nd at Ackerman Hills. Tee times begin at 1pm.

Rules: Playing rules will be consistent with the PSGL. Rules unique to the PSGL include rules regarding balls hit out of bounds or lost balls. The triple bogey rule will NOT be used in this event. Scorecards shall be signed by both players and turned in at the end of the round. If neither Ryder Cup captain is available at the end of the round, please place your completed scorecard in the PSGL scorecard box located in the clubhouse.
