Hatha Yoga 101

Classes will alternate between strength and relaxation.  This class is designed to increase strength and flexibility as you learn various postures while focusing on awareness, connection to breath, proper alignment, and deep relaxation.  This class will surely suit your needs to feel better, look better, and relieve stress.

Yoga Flow

A dynamic 90 minute yoga class that integrates movement with breath to build strength, stamina, balance and focus.  Feel invigorated and challenged as you move through both classical and creatively-adapted sun salutations, standing and seated postures, balance poses, backbends and inversions.  While previous yoga experience is helpful, it is not required – come to learn and benefit from the energy of yoga flow!

PiYo

Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned veteran to pilates, you will greatly benefit from this class as you combine methods of yoga and movements of pilates. Increase your strength, enhance your flexibility, create a new sense of balance and grace, and increase your energy levels with movements that connect the mind and body.  All levels are welcome.

Cycle 101

New to cycling or just looking for a fun and exciting class? Cycle 101 teaches you the basic techniques of cycling while getting an amazing workout.  Learn to put the pedal to the metal and ride to some of your favorite beats.  This class is sure to get you hyped up and into shape!

Cycle 201

Get into gear and let’s ride! Our Cycle 201 class will spin your wheels to better health.  Come join us as we push you to the limit in all types of terrain, testing your skills of determination, focus, and physical fitness.  Our certified instructors will refresh you on the basics of cycling while incorporating more challenging aspects of skill and technique to test your fitness levels and help you achieve optimal health.

Ultimate Cycle

This 90 minute endurance ride will help you wind down from the week and get into gear for the weekend! Utilize various concepts from traditional 50 minute cycle classes while pushing yourself the distance to optimal health.  This is a great addition to any Learn to Play class.

Cycle Yoga

Get the best of both worlds. Cycle Yoga combines the cardiovascular benefits of cycling with the strength and flexibility of power yoga to give you a challenging and fun workout!  This class will be formatted to provide 30 minutes of heart pumping cardiovascular exercise with 20 minutes of poses to challenge your mind, body, and stamina.

Kickboxing

Get into Shape…Kick into Action…Box into Fun!  This course covers a wide variety of interests, from cardiovascular workout to techniques in practical self-defense. You will learn training methods and conditioning drills that incorporate the use of elbow and knee strikes, punches, and kicks.  Boxing gloves, punching mitts, and kick shields are used regularly in class.  Beginners are always welcome, and advanced students are encouraged to push themselves to new goals of stamina, form, and intensity.  It is a challenging and fun way to stay in shape!

Turbo Kick™

Turbo Kick is an interval-based cardiovascular workout that combines shadow boxing, kickboxing, sport drills and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere.  You’ll kick, punch and groove the calories away in this action-packed, super fun, no-contact, cardiovascular workout.  It’s kickboxing and so much more!

Boiler Boot Camp

Escape the gym and take your training outdoors!  Whether you’re a beginner, an avid fitness enthusiast or just tired of the same old routine, this early morning workout is sure to start your day off with a bang!   Your instructor will encourage you to push your limits while working at your own pace as you perform a variety of strength and conditioning exercises.  Experience the group camaraderie and motivating support of other boot camp team members as you work to achieve a common goal of optimum health through no-frills hard work.

Keep in Mind ...

  • All classes are 50 minutes in length with the exception of Yoga Flow and Ultimate Cycle.
  • All sign-ups are final, NO transfers will be allowed due to class limitations.
  • Classes are subject to class minimums and maximums.
  • There are no refunds, except in cases where class is cancelled due to lack of interest or staff.
  • Classes will be held in RSC Room 121.
